What is acne?
Acne is the common term given to pimples which occur on skin due to clogged pores.
What causes acne?
The real cause of pimples is hard to determine as there are many. However since it mostly affect people aged between 14-24 years i.e. during the time of their puberty, I am giving a common explanation. During this age hormone secretions increases which leads to increase in the production of sebum which has got the capacity to block the pores and give birth to acne. Acne usually takes place on the face but it has also been found to occur on chest, back, etc.
