Ramdev Baba Yoga for Obesity

Obesity is a problem faced not only Indians but by the entire world. One of the main factors to worry about is childhood obesity is also on a rise these days. In fact the obesity rate is higher than the rate of spreading of any disease. In order to fight obesity Baba Ramdev has advised some yoga’s which help in reducing obesity.

Some of the yoga’s to reduce obesity are given below

Bhastrika Pranayam

Sit in the lotus pose, take deep breath in and breathe out the air completely. Do this for about 2 minutes to 5 minutes max.

KapalBhati Pranayam

Sit in the lotus pose and push air out forcefully such that the stomach will itself go in. Do it for 30 times or for about 1 min while starting. Increase to 15 minutes gradually.

Anulom Vilom Pranayam

Close your right nostril with the thumb of your right hand and breathe in from left. Now close the left nostril with the middle and ring finger while opening your right nostril and breathe out through the right.  Now do the reverse. This should be done for at least 10 minutes and max 1 hr.

Baharya Pranayam

In this pranayam breathe the air out, touch chin to chest, squeeze stomach completely and hold for a while. Then slowly release chin and breathe in. Do this normally for 3-45 times and max for 11 times.

Bhramri Pranayam

Close the ears with the thumb, put the index finger on forehead, and rest three on base of nose touching eyes. Slowly breathe in and breathe out through nose while humming like a bee. Do this for around 10 minutes.
