Steps to Perform Anulom Vilom Pranayam

Sit down in a comfortable yogic position, known as Vajrasana or Sukhasana. People who have problem in sitting down can also sit on the chair and practice this yoga but sitting down is considered to be the most appropriate position for this yoga. Keep your let hand on your left knee and start the practice by keeping the fourth and middle finger of your right hand on the left side of your nose. You don’t need to twist or press your nose. You just need to hold it lightly. Exhale and inhale through the opposite nostrils, i.e., if you exhale through the left nostril, then inhale through the right one and vice-a-versa. Repeat this process several times.

There are a number of benefits attached to the Anulom Vilom pranayam by Ramdev. Regular practice of this yoga exercise keeps your senses calm and head clear due to increased intake of oxygen.     respected Baba ji,
    i have pain in my intestine or stomach since last 6 years , i am now 23 years old. I got this pain due to excessive crunches without warm and cooling down. At that time, I got a Jerk and due to that my whole appetite went and also i did all the things unknowingly which just aggravate the problem. I went to several doctors and say that i am smoker etc. I can not walk fast, i can not play , i can not eat certain things. during my 6 years experience I believe that i have a great problem of hyper-acidity and SWELLING in INTESTINE. PLEASE CURE ME, YOU ARE MY LAST HOPE.

    Jo kapal Bhati aur anulom vilom regularly karega,use sabhi tarah ki pet(tummy)ki takleef se azadi aur saans ki bemariyon se chhutkara mil jayega.Hats off to baba ramdev!!

    Dear sir,

    I am an engineering student. I perform anulom vilom and kapalbhati(I do yoga only for my eyes) daily in the morning for 10 min before leaving for college. But the problem is that due to time constraints I take my breakfast immediately after doing yoga and leave. Will this habit cause any longterm problem?? As of now I have only experienced the positive aspects of yoga that gives a calm and soothing relaxation to my eyes and no negative effects at all. But will it pose a problem in the future??
